Description

Chlorine Dioxide is made in a couple of ways. We make it by introducing an acid to Sodium Chlorite. We have balanced the concentration so we have a easy to us 1:1 ratio. The solution makes a yellowish color with a strong chlorine like smell. Although it smells like chlorine, chlorine dioxide is vastly different in chemical structure. It is very soluble in water and does not react with water. We use the highest quality food grade products.

Our Hydrochloric acid (HCl) is at 4% which reduces the yield of the Chlorine Dioxide but does not affect the taste as much as the high % strong acids as well as a neutral PH is maintained this way.
